Holly GhostThe Catholic Education Foundation will award 1,100 need-based tuition assistance grants for the school year to elementary school students enrolled in Catholic diocesan schools. The standard CEF Grade School Scholarship is  $700 per student. Students entering kindergarten through grade eight are eligible. 

The CEF grant application timeline for the 2021-22 school year  is January 1 through March 1, 2021. 

Scholarships are awarded annually and an application form must be completed each year.  Applications for the school year will be available in January. Families needing financial assistance must complete an application form and submit the $35 application fee. The applicant will be asked to upload financial information including the 2020 federal tax return and 2020 w-2 form.  The 2019 federal tax return is also accepted if the 2020 return is not yet filed.

The Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) distributes more than 1,600 need-based scholarships each year. Eligible families with students K-12 are encouraged to apply for financial assistance to help cover the cost of tuition. These tuition assistance grants are determined on an annual basis and families must apply each year in order to be considered.  In 2017-18, the CEF distributed $2,130,297to 1,648 students in our Catholic elementary and high schools.
